Sellero (BS)

PRODUCTION UNITS

The Sellero plant was built at the end of the 1960s and was acquired by Riva Acciaio in 1995. Together with Malegno and Cerveno, this factory completes the triad of Riva Group plants in the Camonica valley, an area with a long tradition of steel production. The factory consists of a rolling mill that produces hot rolled steel products and a high-tech turnery where rolling rolls are machined and heat-treated. Thanks to significant investments made in the years following the acquisition – especially on the beam rolling mill whose production capacity was doubled – today the Sellero hot rolling mill can produce HEA, HEB, UPN, IPE, IPN steel profiles as well as flat and square rolled products and billets.

The well-equipped internal laboratory can perform technological tests on the whole product range.

In the turnery department rolling rolls are generally machined and heat-treated. At the end of processing, the rolls undergo a strict final inspection and are then labelled, protected, packed and sent to customers.
