Hot rolled round steel bars, usually named “round bars”, are produced by hot rolling continuously cast steel billets. Round bars are used in hot die pressing and forging but they may also undergo cold finishing.

A variety of mechanical components such as gears, hubs, shafts, drives and many more can be obtained by die pressing and forging. They all have to resist, sustain and transfer motion and must not warp. In this field, steel fosters real industry development.
