Hot rolled billets

Rolled billets are manufactured by hot rolling continuous casting.
Geometrically they have a square cross section with rolled edges (equal to 15% of the side) to further undergo hot die-pressing/forging operations.

Many components of the mechanical industry are produced by means of hot die-pressing/forging: gears, hubs, shafts, drives and thousands of many more components which must withhold, sustain and transfer motion and must not warp. In this field steel fosters real industry development.
